But how do you get one of your own?
Each photo website offers an ‘ API ‘ (some code that you copy and paste into your WordPress page) that provides you with a mirror copy of the photo companies own site. You then add your own banners or logos, and away you go. That is the very simple version … as there is a little bit of work to do, pasting your merchant code into the API before you paste it onto your website. It really is easy though.
When you go to these websites, you will need to create an account and that is free (if you buy images from them already, your account is already set up) … and then locate the area (usually in the my account section) about API’s/referrals/ or partners. You will be required to fill in a form as they don’t leave the source code out for just everyone to take. You will receive an email with the code and further instructions.
